Confession, I used to struggle to enjoy Quinoa but have persevered and it’s paying back in spades… Anyway today we’re going to look at 3 fast and easy Quinoa recipes that I hope you’ll enjoy. However before that I wanted to add a video that ‘sells’ us on why Quinoa is so awesome. Recipe 1# – Banana, Blueberry, Quinoa Breakfast Yield: Serves 2 Ingredients 1 1/2 cups cooked quinoa 1 cup blueberries 1 banana, sliced 1/4 cup sliced almonds 2 tbsp hemp seeds (optional) 1-2 tbsp real maple syrup 1 tsp cinnamon Instructions Mix the cooked quinoa with the maple syrup and cinnamon, stir to combine. Heat the quinoa in the microwave or on the stovetop until warm. Divide between two bowls. Add half of the blueberries, banana, almonds and hemp seeds to each bowl. Add any other toppings that you would like!
